You can add meaningful comments to your graphs as reference points that is either Value-based or Time-based.
- Click the graph you wish to configure in the Graphs page.
- A new Outpost Graph window opens.
- Click the Add/Remove comments (
) button on the tools bar at the bottom of the graph. - There are 3 types of comments:
- Time - comments inserted according to the x-axis coordinate
- Value - comments inserted according to the y-axis coordinate
- Point - single-point comment inserted according to a X,Y coordinate
- Enter the relevant values in the fields.
- Save

Examples:
Value-based comment with the following configuration:
- Value: 7
- Colour Above: Red
- Colour Below: Transparent
Time-based comment with the following configuration:
- Time: 07/Jan/2016 00:00:00
Point-based comment with the following configuration:
- Date: 07/Jan/2016 12:0000
- Value: 7
- Data Series: Data Series 1
